Summerhall was the summer palace of the Targaryens, located within the Stormlands but in close proximity to the borders of Dorne and the Reach as well. It was built during the notably pro-Dornish reign of King Daeron II Targaryen. A younger child of the Targaryen family was given the title 'Prince of Summerhall', whilst the direct heir was given the title 'Prince of Dragonstone', and it was a favourite haunt of King Daeron's youngest son, Prince Maekar, who maintained a household there after the Blackfyre Rebellion.
